We are Scottish Autism, a charity dedicated to helping autistic individuals lead happy, healthy and fulfilling lives.
We offer a broad range of services, including educational, day and vocational opportunities, as well as supported living, outreach, respite and specialist transition support.
We are seeking Autism Practitioners to join our new service which offers residential support for 10 Autistic adults.
Autism Practitioners will work on a full or part time basis to provide personalised support to enhance quality of life for those supported.
– Salary of £18,879 – £19,932
– 32 days’ holiday (pro rata for part time) which increases with your length of service

As an Autism Practitioner, you will lead and develop aspirational and bespoke support plans enabling people with autism to develop their independence and engage with their local communities.
Empowering individuals and providing them with the confidence needed to increase their personal and daily living skills, you will also provide support in times of increased stress which may result in challenging behaviour.
Working within a wider team, you will continually review plans to ensure that they meet the personal needs of the individual and achieve the most sustainable and positive outcomes possible.
Interested? To be considered as an Autism Practitioner, you will need:
– A relevant qualification such as an SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or the willingness to work towards this)
– An empathetic approach
– Great communication skills
– A positive attitude
