Associate Counsellor / Therapist
Hours: Flexible / Part-time. Ideally have capacity to work with more than one case at a time.
Hourly rate (per session): Maximum £50.00
Hourly rate is inclusive of basic case management duties.
We are looking to recruit a pool of freelance counsellors/therapists to work remotely (at this time) with carer’s who have been adversely affected by Covid-19 and their caring role. The main impact on unpaid caring are areas such as, isolation, bereavement, stress and mental health.
We are looking for accredited counsellors/therapist’s that are experienced in working remotely with clients. The service is open to both adult and young carers therefore, we are recruiting for both adult and children’s counsellors/therapists. We are interested in recruiting counsellors/therapists of different approaches so to best meet our carers needs. Your approach will need to support Carers with reducing feelings of stress, burn out, loss, isolation and identity. We are specifically interested in grief counsellors and therapists with a Humanistic or CBT background, that are able to provide person centered short/medium term working.
The role is a self-employed role and successful applicants must have weekday capacity to take on a small caseload and preferably enrolled to the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Update Service and are experienced with working remotely with clients via telephone or video platform.
