Asylum Seeker and Refugee Counsellor for Females: Birmingham & Remote
Tuesday 2.15pm to 8.35pm and Friday 9.30am-2.10pm (11 hours per week although additional hours are available)
£7,505.18 per year plus up to 3% pension contribution (if applicable)
RSVP are looking to recruit a counsellor or psychotherapist who has at least two years post qualification experience, to offer therapeutic support to adult survivors who are seeking asylum or are refugees, who have experienced rape or sexual abuse either here in the UK or in their home country. If you have experience with this client group or working with trauma, this could be the role for you. Experience of working with an interpreter would be an advantage but not essential.

This is a female-only vacancy due to the post offering counselling to female survivors . As this is an operational requirement of the role, Occupational Requirement (Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9 Part I) applies.
