Children’s Wellbeing Practitioner x 2 Required: Croydon, London

- Based in the London Borough of Croydon and time is split between King’s College London and on-site service delivery
Croydon Drop In (CDI and Off The Record (OTR) are seeking 2 highly motivated and enthusiastic practitioners to work and train within our award-winning Voluntary Sector services. The training post will equip the post-holder to provide interventions for children, young people or families using evidence-based interventions consistent with the training. The post holder will work with people with different cultural backgrounds and ages and will be committed to equality, diversity and inclusion. The training forms part of the service transformation initiative delivered by Health Education England as part of the national Children and Young People’s Mental Health (CYP-MH) programme.
These are training positions with the post holders undertaking training at Kings College London alongside working in our frontline Mental Health Support Teams. You will be taught to deliver evidence based guided self-help interventions for children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties. The post holders will use their newly developed skills to support children and young people who are referred into the MHST and trainees will receive clinical supervision to support their professional development.
