An exciting opportunity has arisen to become a Counselling Co-Ordinator at CGL’s new RESET Recovery Service in Tower Hamlets. The service provides high quality recovery and support interventions to people living in Tower Hamlets who are attempting to overcome substance misuse dependency issues, this includes family intervention work and therapy.

You will provide clear role modelling and leadership for your team to ensure effective service provision for service users. You will support the delivery of high quality service provision by:

  • Creating an ambitious service user focused culture.
  • Engaging staff to provide a continually improving and innovative service.
  • Providing leadership, management, support and development to a diverse team of staff
  • Managing the counselling placements and supporting counsellors maintain safe practice
  • Clinical supervision of all volunteer counsellors

The role will report directly to the Deputy Services Manager. You will line manage a team of staff which will include volunteers counsellors and will oversee student placements.

Responsibilities

This role is vital to the development and continuity of the service and includes multi-agency working.
