Counsellor/CBT Therapist Required: Cambridgeshire
CLOSING DATE: 7 December 2020
UNIVERSITY OF CAMBRIDGE
Cambridge University Counselling Service is seeking to recruit one counsellor, psychotherapist or cognitive behavioural therapist to undertake individual and group counselling with students for this large, busy and well-respected multi-disciplinary Counselling Service.
This is an opportunity to join our highly experienced multi-disciplinary team of counsellors, CBT therapists, mental health advisors and sexual assault and harassment advisor.
The successful candidate will have a post-graduate level counselling qualification. Current accreditation as a counsellor/psychotherapist with BACP, UKCP, BABCP, BCP or as a clinical or counselling psychologist with BPS is essential, as well as relevant experience of counselling and group-work in a similar organisational setting.
Please note, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the University Counselling Service has ceased to offer individual face-to-face appointments or group sessions. Instead we are offering students telephone/video consultations. We are unable to provide a date as to when we will return back to the Student Service building so please apply on the basis that you will be working from your home until further notice. You will need to take this into consideration as you do need to be able to work in a secure environment whereby all information will be managed in a confidential manner at all times.
