Therapy Service is an in-house therapy service that offers a range of therapeutic interventions including EMDR and integrative counselling.

We are looking for an experienced BACP Accredited counsellor to deliver counselling and lead with referrals and assessment within this service. We are looking for a counsellor who is either EMDR trained or willing to undertake the EMDR training whilst in post. Hence you must be Accredited to apply for this role.

Working 16 hours a week, you will hold a clinical case load (comprised predominantly of women who are residents at our mother and child rehab). You will also receive and record all referrals, from our other houses, assess all referrals for appropriate interventions, maintain up to date records of referrals and work alongside the Clinical Lead to monitor and evaluate outcomes.

We are looking for a candidate who understands women’s trauma and has experience of working with women with complex or multiple needs. We are looking for someone who is committed to working from a trauma informed perceptive and is able to manage the administrative side of keeping secure, current records and statistics of service use.

Any offer of employment will be subject to an Enhanced DBS disclosure, costs of which will be met by our client.
