A new and exciting opportunity within the Directorate of Student Experience and Wellbeing has arisen for an experienced Counsellor.
The successful candidate will be able to develop and deliver counselling support services in innovative ways to enable all student and apprentice cohorts to access and benefit from the service, including face to face, online and telephone delivery.

- Develop an accessible and engaging holistic suite of resources to support good emotional, mental health, wellbeing and resilience.
- Offer strategies to overcome perceived barriers to learning and achievement in order for the student or apprentice to progress and succeed.
- Play a key role within the Safeguarding Team, ensuring high standards of welfare are achieved for all students and apprentices.
- Work collaboratively with all stakeholders to promote and raise awareness of the counselling service across the business.
