We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Counsellor to join our Counselling and Therapy service in primary care!

Main duties of the job

We deliver a range of therapeutic counselling interventions for people experiencing mild to moderately severe mental health problems, such as anxiety, depression and trauma.

Band: Band 6

Salary: £34,835 to £47,015 a year

Contract: Permanent

Working pattern: Full-time, Flexible working

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Counsellor to join our Counselling and Therapy service in primary care!

We deliver a range of therapeutic counselling interventions for people experiencing mild to moderately severe mental health problems, such as anxiety, depression and trauma.

Your experience and ideas will be key in developing the support and intervention we provide. Together we will design, deliver and evaluate the developing service based in the heart of the community. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of something special and make a difference to those in the community.

You will initially be based in Port Erin or Douglas, but we also deliver interventions in our Ramsey and Peel hubs.

Your high level of clinical skills and ability to utilise specialist therapeutic techniques and counselling approaches will ensure clients receive the services they need. For candidates not on the Isle of Man we will reimburse your interview expenses and give you a relocation package of up to £7,000 to get you, your things and your family to the island.
