We are looking for applicants who be willing to work at both our Rochester and Canterbury campuses, primarily during term time.

You will provide professional counselling and wellbeing services to the students at the University as part of the integrated Academic Services.  The work will normally be one-to-one and face-to-face, but the provision of online, telephone and group work may be required, and the post holder should have experience in this area.

You will also advise students on obtaining help and support to enable them to succeed with their studies as well as refer students appropriately on to other services inside or outside the University when necessary.

Applicants will need to hold a recognised qualification in counselling or psychotherapy, be currently registered with a relevant professional body (e.g. BACP, UKCP, BPS), and have experience of delivering counselling in an institutional setting.
