Ormiston Families – Point 1 Service
A partnership between Ormiston Families, MAP and the Norfolk & Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust, the Point 1 service provides mental health support to children and young people across Norfolk & Waveney, who are experiencing early signs of mental health and emotional problems.
We have an opportunity for full (35 hours) and part-time (minimum 14 hours) permanent contracts to support the Advice and Access Team; Starting salary £24,047 per annum, pro-rata for part time working.
Based at the Norwich Hub with opportunity to work from home
To work as part of the Advice & Access team to be the initial point of contact for children young people and families requesting support from the service. You will undertake initial information gathering and provide self-help advice and techniques and one-off evidence-based interventions for children with mild-moderate mental health issues. This is mainly a telephone-based role with occasional face to face intervention.
You will be a highly motivated and committed individual with experience of working with young people and families.
