Self Help is a user led mental health charity that has developed considerable expertise in the field of primary care mental health. The charity currently delivers a range of services including self help support groups, eTherapy services, counselling and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. The charity is funded by various NHS Trusts and works across the North West with the head office based in Hulme, Manchester.
We are looking to recruit a motivated individual to take up an eTherapy coordinator role within the eTherapy department. The coordinator will develop, co-ordinate and deliver the Stockport eTherapy service that supports people experiencing common mental health problems such as depression and/or anxiety. The post holder will work alongside a team of psychological wellbeing practitioners, counsellors and eTherapy coordinators within a stepped care model to provide a range of NICE approved low intensity interventions for depression and anxiety disorders. Treatment will be delivered through a range of modalities including face-to-face work and telephone therapy.
The successful candidate will have a passion for improving the lives of those people who are affected by common mental health. Self Help can provide excellent opportunities for ongoing personal and professional development through regular supervision and training opportunities.
