Helpline Counsellor Required: Glasgow, Scotland


Salary: £23,500 – £25,000 per annum (pro-rata)
Hours: Part-time 14 hours per week (minimum), 28 hours per week (maximum)
Location: Glasgow

As a Helpline Counsellor, the successful candidate will work as part of a team to provide support to families, couples and individuals with relationship and emotional difficulties to ease distress and signpost appropriately. The service is delivered via a virtual call centre telephony system utilising web-based technologies to deliver real-time client support, for which full training will be provided.

This role requires a clear focus on the delivery of a professional, ethical and quality-driven service.

The ideal candidate will possess, or be working towards, a recognised counselling qualification to Diploma level and COSCA or BACP membership. Recent, relevant experience in providing a counselling support service to adult clients is essential and experience of providing telephone/online support to clients is desirable.
