Hours:             Full-time (five days per week) 37.5 hours per week being four week days and one day late shift.  Days by arrangement.

Salary:             Basic salary for Level 4 qualification is £11.00 to £12.50 per hour plus benefits of up to a further £2,200. Package includes generous pension contributions (if opted in), travel allowance for applicable journeys, 24 days holiday rising by one day per two years after two years to a maximum of 35 days plus Bank Holidays.

Details: Keyworker/Counsellor to work in our mixed gender abstinence based Residential Rehabilitation Centre.

Duties include care planned counselling, one to one sessions, therapeutic and structured group’s relapse prevention workshops etc.

The ideal candidate will have Counselling skills Level 4. Group-work, presentation skills and experience of working in the drug and alcohol addiction field are preferred.

Good communication, people skills and computer literacy (MS Word, e-mail and internet) is essential.  A full driving Licence and access to a vehicle is preferred.

Flexibility to work some Bank Holidays and be part of the out of hours on call rota is necessary. The employer will consider less qualified or experienced candidates who are willing to undergo further training. Successful applicants are required to provide an enhanced disclosure; disclosure expense will be met by employer.
