SHP (Single Homeless Project)
Team: Fulfilling Lives C&I
Do you believe everyone should have a place to call home and the chance to lead a fulfilling life?
SHP (Single Homeless Project) is one of London’s leading homelessness prevention charities and a dynamic and growing organisation changing 8,000 lives every year across London – from supporting people in crisis, to helping them take the final steps towards independence and employment.
Fulfilling Lives in Islington and Camden is funded by the Big Lottery Community Fund. It is a programme working towards lasting, systemic change in the design & delivery of services for people experiencing multiple disadvantages.
As the Mental Health Lead, you will lead & develop FLIC’s strategic work relating to mental health for people experiencing multiple disadvantages in Camden and Islington. You will play a lead role in developing trauma-informed practise across all sectors and in improving access to appropriate mental health support. You will also work at a strategic level, to advocate for the mental health needs of people experiencing multiple disadvantage and to challenge stigma.
We are looking for an experienced mental health practitioner with a strong understanding of the systems that affect people experiencing multiple disadvantages. You will also have experience of developing projects, working inclusively with people experiencing multiple disadvantages and working collaboratively in community settings.
If are passionate about creating lasting change and have the skills needed for the role, then we want to hear from you.
