GLEA Pay scale Grade 4 Point 10 (Pro rata equated pay for this post is £16,592 per annum)
A great opportunity has arisen for a well-qualified, caring and dedicated Mental Health and Wellbeing Lead to cover for maternity absence and join our Pastoral Team on a temporary basis. This contract is term time only and is likely to run from mid-January to mid-October 2021.
We are looking to appoint a candidate who is highly organised with excellent verbal and written skills and able to communicate equally well with students, parents, staff and external agencies. Relevant experience with children of secondary school age is essential for the post. The successful candidate should have worked in a role assessing and counselling young people, with knowledge of contemporary issues of concern to this age group and possessing a non-judgemental outlook. The post would be best suited to an individual who has patience, tolerance and sensitivity. The role is fully supported by professional supervision. It is essential to have a full UK driving licence for this post to enable home visits when necessary.
