Psychological Therapist Required: London

London

£44,588 – £49,571 pro rata

Permanent / 18.75 hours per week

We are looking for Psychological Therapists with experience, to join our team of therapists and honorary therapists delivering therapeutic support to some of the most marginalised people in society. This is a part-time role based in London and may require travel to different St Mungo’s services.

Lifeworks, the Psychological Interventions Service, employs a team of therapists who, with honorary therapists, provide a range of psychological therapies to people have experienced homelessness and accessed St Mungo’s services across London and the South of England.  Lifeworks has demonstrated the benefits of providing therapy in a way that acknowledges the challenges that our clients experience in engaging with this process, and for many of our clients they would not otherwise be able to access therapy.

Lifeworks has recently undergone a change of structure with the aim of broadening out the offer to our clients, both in terms of geographically reaching more people, but also offering a wider range of therapy options. We are looking for therapists who can support the development of St Mungo’s psychologically and trauma informed approaches and have experience of working with this client group and who have experience of supervising honorary therapists.
