School Counsellor Required: Ilford, Essex

The Head teacher is looking to appoint a highly professional School Counsellor who will
deliver a therapeutic service to the pupils at Valentines High School whilst helping to raise
awareness of Mental Health support services amongst the school community. The
successful candidate would be working alongside a team of psychotherapy and
counselling practitioners and mentors, within a school who recognise the value of mental
health and resilience as prerequisite to academic excellence. This is a term time plus two
weeks position

The successful candidate will also be responsible for working closely with the Senior
Wellbeing Lead in training relevant stakeholders to support vulnerable young people.

This is a term time plus two weeks position working 36 hours per week. Part time and flexible
hours may be considered for the right candidate.
