You will be joining a team of committed and inspiring individuals whose dedication has saved the lives of thousands of women, men and children in the capital. We are looking for friendly and diligent individuals to join our services and help us make a difference.
About the Service
Counselling service provides one-to-one counselling up to 16 sessions to survivors of VAWG. LBI counselling provides counselling for survivors of VAWG of all genders, including male survivors and LBTQI+ survivors who are aged 18+ and are living in Islington.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic counsellor who is experienced in providing direct and dedicated therapeutic support to all genders who have experienced domestic abuse.
The successful candidate will provide weekly one to one therapeutic support, which can be accessed online, over the phone or in person. You will work within a model that consists of trauma focused, multi-modal interventions with an objective of optimising resilience, facilitating sustainable recovery and supporting survivors in their journey in post-traumatic recovery.
