NCT are working in collaboration with formal partners Alternatives Trust, the Magpie Project and Compost London to deliver an expanded programme in Newham aimed at promoting the health and wellbeing of women from low income, Black Asian and minority ethnic and migrant backgrounds around pregnancy, birth and early parenthood.
We are looking for passionate and skilled individuals to work as part of a small team providing accessible and bespoke perinatal care including, antenatal education, peer support, counselling and practical support and signposting.

Location: Newham based office
To provide therapeutic input on an individual basis working with pregnant and new mothers. This role is the only therapeutic role within a small team. Clients will be referred by the Perinatal Programme manager where more complex mental health or wellbeing needs are identified. This service is targeted at clients who would usually be excluded from such services due to financial pressures, long NHS waiting lists or additional barriers to accessing services.
- BACP Accreditation or member of UKCP or equivalent
- At least 3 years post qualification experience with adults
- Experience working with vulnerable women with complex needs and has received additional training or has extensive experience in working with clients who have experienced trauma.
- Able to work within a nonclinical team.
