Salary: Grade 7, £39,152 – £44,045
We are seeking to recruit a Senior Wellbeing Practitioner who will manage the new school-based strand of our service.
You will be actively involved in the recruitment of a team of Wellbeing Practitioners and provide effective leadership to embed their roles within our schools whilst maintaining close working relationships with the central Student Wellbeing Team.
You will have a demonstrable commitment to partnership working and be able to engage effectively with colleagues from a range of backgrounds and teams across the wider university.
You will be an experienced mental health practitioner with substantial experience of clinical leadership within multi-disciplinary teams and proven ability to effectively lead and manage change. You must hold a current professional qualification in the field of mental health care and be registered with a professional body such as the NMC or HCPC.
Extensive experience of delivering collaborative, therapeutic interventions using a case management approach for people who have complex or long-standing mental health problems is essential You will also have a good understanding of student mental health in the higher education sector and value of working in partnership to influence change across large organisations.
