Are you a qualified counsellor with a minimum of a level 4 diploma in counselling, and experience of facilitating group sessions?
We are looking for 2 passionate and experienced counsellors, 15 hours per week each, to join us at Signpost to support clinical assessments, therapeutic group sessions for young people and parent support groups. Young People tell us after school provision is more accessible so we are looking for counsellors who can support delivery in the evenings. 

We will consider:

Two posts at 15 hours per week (Actual salary £12,440-£13,779) or,

one post at 30-hours per week (Actual Salary: £24,881-£27,559)

You will have membership with a professional body such as BACP, UKCP or NCS and will be required to hold or undertake level 3 safeguarding.

Signpost is looking to recruit a qualified and experienced counsellor who is passionate about working with children and young people. Signpost is a counselling provision that supports children and young people across Hertfordshire from 10-25 years of age. We offer face-to-face and remote counselling sessions as well as group sessions.

You will have a proven experience in working with a wide variety of clients (over 450 clinical hours would be desirable). You will be experienced in identifying, supporting and escalating high risk clients, such as those who self-harm or have suicidal thoughts. You must have experience in using different clinical measures and therapeutic approaches as well as having knowledge of relevant legislation.

The working pattern for the 15 hours posts are 2 evenings per week, 2-8pm at the Signpost office, with the remaining 3 hours to be negotiated. The working pattern for the 30-hour post would be 3 evenings per week, 2-8pm and 2 days, 11-5pm, again working from Signpost Office.
