Student Counsellor Required: Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Salary: Grade 7 £32,344 – £40,927 per annum (pro-rata), with the possibility of progression to £44,706 through sustained exceptional contribution

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced professionally qualified and accredited counsellor/psychotherapist to work within our existing team at The University of Sheffield Counselling Service.
You will support the administration of the trainee placement provision and a range of service initiatives.
This role requires you to have your Diploma in Counselling/Psychotherapy Clinical Supervision or be working towards it.
SAMHS and the Counselling Service offers students at the university a single point of contact to access a range of mental health and psychological wellbeing services both within the University of Sheffield and within the wider community. Our dedicated team of mental health and psychological therapists offer:
• Counselling and psychotherapy to the student population
• Triage assessments and signposting/or referral to ongoing service provision
