Overview
Compass Associates are proud to be helping an addiction support specialist in their search for Therapist/Counsellor to join the team at their Treatment Centre in Halstead. You will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of a high-quality therapeutic support programme and rehabilitation to substance misusing clients in 23 bedded Centre.
 
Responsibilities
– Monitor and evaluate the quality of care and treatment programmes.
– Carry out triage assessments, transfers, discharges, and care plan reviews in conjunction
with external agencies/families and to submit written reports in conjunction with referring
and co-working agencies.
– Assist the Centre Manager in preparing and developing the action plan and provide reports
on activity plans.
– Facilitate and co-facilitate effective and evidence-based group programmes (13-15 clients)
– 1 to1 therapy
– Ensure effective care pathways are provided by delivering clients with advocacy, information
and referral to aftercare services that focus on maintaining an abstinent lifestyle.
Requirements
– 12 months experience in counselling.
– Newly qualified Counsellors with experience in addiction(placement)
– Experience of delivering therapeutic support programmes.
– BACP/FDAP or UKCP/HCPC qualifications
– Experience of working within the drug and alcohol field would be desirable.
Shift pattern
40 hours per week
Monday – Friday, 09:00-17:00
One weekend per month
