2 x Trainee CB Therapists Required: Bradford, West Yorkshire
We are excited to offer two opportunities to join Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust as a trainee cognitive behavioural therapist. The postholders will undertake a Postgraduate Diploma in CBT for psychosis, attending university one day per week with the remainder of the working week being based in one of our Community Mental Health Teams undertaking clinical duties.
The successful candidates will hold a therapy caseload, under close supervision, throughout the duration of the training and will also play a part in the transformation of services.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who are keen to pursue a career in cognitive behavioural therapy and have some existing knowledge and skill in this therapeutic modality. We are looking for individuals who are highly motivated, able to manage the varied demands of work and study and are truly passionate about improving access to psychological therapy for people with psychosis.
Main duties of the job
Expert supervision and mentorship will be provided throughout the duration of the post. The successful candidates will have access to well established Trust-wide CBT networks and an excellent staff support package.
We particularly welcome applications from people who identify as coming from marginalised or under represented communities or groups and/or those with lived experience of mental health.
