About The Role

 

Leeds Mind is a progressive mental health organisation that supports people experiencing mental health difficulties to flourish.

We are committed to developing services that are sensitive to individual need and of measurable benefit to users.

 

Purpose of the post:

 

The post holder will work with the Counselling Coordinator, administrative team and counselling colleagues to;

 

Provide an increased capacity for the Leeds Suicide Bereavement and Blue Light and Private Practice services.

 

To provide assessment and therapy for a minimum of three clients per week, although variable depending on service demand.

 

Work autonomously within BACP or UKCP ethical guidelines and the overall framework of Leeds Mind policies and procedures.

 

Contribute where necessary to service audit, development, team meetings, etc.

 

Be able to attend mandatory days training on 8th December. (Leeds Suicide Bereavement Service).

The successful applicant will have experience in:

· Offering client led trauma informed counselling and/or bereavement counselling

· Counselling or psychotherapy as a client yourself

· Assessing clients for counselling

· Using a range of outcomes measurements for counselling work
