Traditionally, when we think of counselling or therapy we think of physically meeting a counsellor or therapist.
The encounter is face to face in a quiet private space, and we share our innermost thoughts and feelings.
Meeting online via video call, email, messaging is a very different experience.

As therapy and counselling platforms increase online in number and usage, it becomes more important for comparison studies to be conducted between face to face and online interventions.
