An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Parent Counsellor to be part of the MindSpace team.
The main focus of the role will be to offer 1:1 interventions to parents/carers of young people attending Barnsley mainstream secondary schools.
This is an excellent opportunity if you are a qualified BACP registered Counsellor to develop your clinical practice.
The successful applicant will have completed a recognised professional qualification in Humanistic Integrative Counselling to a minimum of Level 4 Diploma and have a minimum of 250 hours of supervised practice post qualification, including supervisory experience.
Have a background of working with vulnerable families and a working knowledge of the early help parenting programme.
The post is temporary until April 2020 due to funding with a view to extending the post past April 2020.
