Peripatetic Wellbeing and Recovery Practitioner: Surrey

Working as a Peripatetic Wellbeing & Recovery Practitioner, you will be responsible for supporting our clients with substance misuse and lower level mental health needs.
You may be someone with a particular interest in developing your skills in the area of recovery and reintegration, supporting clients resettling in to the community.
The flexible nature of this role means you will also support locations with additional needs.
Day to day you will be delivering a range of one-to-one and group interventions and structured programmes for service user cohorts across the region, you will also complete assessments and develop client-centred care plans to help service users reach their goals.
You will use release planning to ensure clients continue their recovery journey in the community. It is a varied role in a busy environment.
The successful candidate will be proactive and resilient, resourceful and solution focused.
To be successful in this role you will possess a recognised counselling qualification and you will need to have experience and knowledge of supporting clients with substance misuse issues, a good understanding of recovery and the criminal justice system.
A Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social or willingness to work towards this is also desirable.
