Salary: Actual salary £8,599 – £9,450 (depending on number of days and experience)
Band I of the NCLT Support Staff Scale, FTE salary £26,913 – £29,576
A recruitment and retention allowance may be offered for an outstanding candidate.

We are seeking to appoint a counsellor to provide a confidential and professional counselling and welfare support service to our students.
The successful candidate should have previous experience of counselling young adults in an education environment as well as experience of working with external support agencies to be able to signpost students where necessary.
With a relevant counselling qualification to Level 4, you must have a commitment to student welfare and achievement and the ability to listen and advise in a non-judgemental way.
Reporting to the Assistant Principal for Achievement and Support, you will have excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to work independently and as a member of a wider team.
New College Bradford is a 16-19 free school opening initially with 500 students, rising to 1200 by September 2021.
The college sits within the New Collaborative Learning Trust, a multi-academy trust established by New College Pontefract (an Ofsted outstanding provider).
