We require flexible and enthusiastic applicants who have mental health experience and are willing to train to be Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWPs).
The successful applicants will join Blackpool’s IAPT Service, which relaunched as Supporting Minds in January 2016.
Supporting Minds operates a self-referral pathway, and the team includes CBT therapists, counsellors and PWPs, providing psychological assessment and therapies to people with mild to moderate psychological and emotional difficulties.
We also run Stress Control courses, offer online therapy,EMDR, couples counselling and counselling for depression.
Applicants will need to have the necessary experience and academic ability to attend and complete an IAPT PWP training course. (The training takes place over a full academic year while meeting the course practical requirements through the placement with the IAPT service).
