We are looking for two enthusiastic, skilled and dedicated individual who would like to train to be Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners.
PWPs are trained to provide interventions based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to people with common mental health problems at step two of the Stepped Care model.
The post involves studying for a postgraduate diploma for the first year whilst also working as a trainee within the service.
You will need to be available to start the one year intensive university course from 21st October 2019 and be available to complete your induction within the service prior to this.
The training takes place at The University of Sheffield.
The first one week of the course will require you to attend the university full time and after that it will be there one day a week.
You must be able to travel there and commit to a day of the course.
The successful candidate will start on band 4 and rise to band 5 once the course has been completed and passed.
Potential candidates will need experience working in a mental health setting and have a degree, or relevant qualification, that would enable you to complete a post graduate certificate.
The selection process will include an interview/selection process within the service on 30th July 2019. We will shortlist 4 candidates to attend a further interview at the University of Sheffield on 2nd August 2019.
